Title: Curlew and Sanderling
This odd pair of shorebirds were hunting together along the surf at Morro Bay California. It was late winter and there were hundreds of shorebirds migrating north along the coast.
I did this painting to show the difference in size, shape, and feather patterns of the two different birds.
This painting is exhibited in the 'Small Pleasures" exhibition, Brackenwood Gallery, Langley, WA., 2015
Original Medium: Watercolor
Size: 7.5”h x 10.5”w
