Title: Season of Gray and Gold

Jackson Hole Wildlife Area in Wyoming is packed with herds of elk during the winter. I painted these fine looking elk that photographed at the refuge and I put them in a classic north Yellowstone National Park scene.
Several years later I decided I didn't like the elk in the painting so I painted over them. That painting got changed five times and I'm still not happy with it.
