Medium: Watercolor; Image Size: 4.5″h x 6.75″w; 2015
This intricate, miniature study of one of the magnificent cliffs in Zion National Park entailed painting many subtle washes of browns, yellows, blues, and black hues each layered upon each other until the values, depth, and shapes appeared. Because it was so small it required using tiny brushes and took considerable time to paint for such a small painting.
This painting is FRAMED, with a single white matt, and under standard glass. Frame outside measurements is approximately 10 3/8″h x 12 3/8″w x 1″d.
