Snowflake Festival 2004, Snowflake Express

I was commissioned by the city of Klamath Falls to create a design for their annual Snowflake Festival. The theme always had to incorporate Perky the Pelican who was their mascot. They chose the theme of trains, and I came up with this artwork and suggested it be called the Snowflake Express. That year the festival brought in quarter scale trains from Train Mountain to give train rides in the downtown city park.

Sketched in pencil. Scanned into the computer and floated. Painting, graphics, colors, effects, and text were done in Photoshop.
