Black Mountain, where I used to live, was such a wonderful place. Nearly every day I hiked the hills and little meadows of that mountain. I loved the Oregon White Oaks that dotted the landscape. They had lovely gray trunks that twisted and contorted into very interesting shapes. This painting captures some of beauty of those oaks with two beautiful horses enhancing the painting.
