ABOUT THE ARTWORK: This small watercolor study is of the iconic Arch Rock which has an impressive arch carved out of this sea stack. Arch Rock State Park which is twelve miles north of Brookings, Oregon is a small park with a paved trail that makes a loop along a bluff that overlooks Arch Rock and numerous sea stacks and small islands. This view is seen from the western edge of the park and looks due west to Arch Rock. The park is part of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor. It has lovely views from the bluff and shows rugged coves, beaches, and wind swept trees.
