Whenever Harry and I went for a hike at Moore Park, Klamath Falls, Oregon, this Stellar’s Jay and its companions would wait near our car for our return. We would reward the Jays with treats of nuts and raisins. All the Jays made such cute, animated displays when the treats came out, so I did my best to capture their enthusiasm in this painting.
