Hobie Yak Sailing

I did this design as a sample to show to the Hobie Corporation. My husband and I both had Adventure Island sailing kayaks and we loved them. I did the design and proposed to Hobie to sell them printed T-shirts, and though they really liked the design, they had a contract with another company who had the sole right to license the Hobie imprinted apparel, so this design never went into production. The original design said Hobie on it, so I changed it to say Yak Sailing.

Sketched in pencil. Scanned into the computer and floated. Painting, graphics, colors, effects, and text were done in Photoshop.
