ABOUT THE ARTWORK:  I painted this view of Pt. Wilson Lighthouse in Port Townsend, Washington as a demonstration for a watercolor class that I taught. Because it was only a three-hour workshop, I worked in the traditional loose watercolor style because I could work quickly and teach my students how to work in a traditional style. This scene of the lighthouse is seen from its’ south side.
