Watercolor painting of a Wild Corn Cockle by Janet Tarjan Erl.

Wild Corn Cockle Study

Medium: Watercolor, Image Size: 5.25”h x 5.25”w, 2015.

Though some people consider Corn Cockles to be weeds, I believe they are beautiful flowers. This study was one of my North American Wildflower Paintings series. I saw these wildflowers on one of my hikes in Southern Oregon in Klamath County.
